We believe in one true God who is eternal and Creator of all things. He co-exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving, just and holy and wants to be in relationship with us.
We believe that sin has separated all of us from God and only God can provide a remedy.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the remedy. Jesus came into the world as our Saviour, died on a cross, taking our sin and the punishment for our sin upon himself and He rose from the dead to prove His victory of death, sin and Satan. All who repent and believe in Him can have forgiveness and eternal life. As believers we are baptised in water by full immersion as a public declaration of our faith in Jesus.
We believe that God’s Spirit both indwells and empowers the born again believer. God’s personal presence changes our hearts and lives to live His way. The Holy Spirit gives us the desire and the power to obey God and provides us with spiritual gifts that enable us to fulfil God’s purposes on earth.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and through it God speaks today. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting. It is total truth and provides us with principles relating to life, conduct and faith.
We believe the church is the ‘body of Christ', those whose faith is in Jesus, born again by the God's Spirit. The three main purposes of the church are To Worship God, To Equip Believers, and To Reach the World with the message of Jesus. The church fellowships together regularly, in both large groups and small groups to grow in faith and love, to minister to each other and to fulfil the great commission.
We believe that believers cannot be demon possessed. Those the Son sets free are truly free. Jesus and the early disciples cast out demons for evangelical purposes verifying the authority of Christ and the start of the church age. We don’t adhere to exorcisms or deliverance for believers as the pastoral letters in the New Testament are silent on this practice, nor or are there any detailed histories in the early church of Christians ever being demon-possessed.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for His church just as He promised when there will be a final judgement for all humanity.
We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
